Vendor Terms of Use

These Vendor Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between Bookiro (“Bookiro”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and you, the vendor/tenant (“Vendor”, “Tenant” “you”, or “your”), regarding your use of the Bookiro platform to offer appointment-based services to your clients.

By registering as a Vendor or continuing to use Bookiro, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws, including those in the Province of Quebec.


1. Eligibility & Vendor Account
  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a business in your jurisdiction.

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete information and keep your profile up to date.

  • You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

  • Your account is non-transferable unless approved in writing by Bookiro.


2. Vendor Obligations

As a Vendor, you agree to:

  • Fulfill Appointments: Honor all bookings made via the platform unless canceled with appropriate notice.

  • Maintain Availability & Accuracy: Keep your service listings, pricing, availability, and business details accurate at all times.

  • Deliver Professional Services: Provide services in accordance with applicable laws, industry standards, and safety or licensing requirements.

  • Communicate Promptly: Address client concerns professionally, including rescheduling and service disputes.


3. Independent Vendor Status
  • Vendors are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Bookiro.

  • You are responsible for compliance with applicable tax, health, safety, and licensing laws.

  • Bookiro is not liable for your interactions with clients or for your service delivery.


4. Use of Client Data
  • You agree to handle any personal data in accordance with Quebec’s Law 25, including the obligation to protect, not misuse, and delete client data upon request.

  • You may not use client data for off-platform solicitation unless the client has provided explicit consent.

  • All client data must be stored securely and used solely for providing booked services.


5. Payments & Fees
  • Subscription fees and payout terms are outlined at https://bookiro.ca/pricing.

  • Payments are processed by secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).

  • You are responsible for any chargebacks or client disputes.

  • Bookiro reserves the right to withhold or delay payments in cases of suspicious or abusive activity.


6. Reviews & Ratings
  • Clients may submit public reviews. Vendors may respond professionally.

  • You may not offer incentives for reviews or attempt to manipulate them.

  • Bookiro may remove reviews that violate community standards or platform rules.


7. Prohibited Conduct

Vendors must not:

  • Offer illegal or misrepresented services

  • Misuse client data or spam clients

  • Impersonate others or provide false business credentials

  • Undermine the reputation of Bookiro, its users, or other vendors

  • Circumvent fees or platform restrictions


8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms or applicable laws

  • You receive repeated complaints or negative reviews

  • You compromise platform security, data integrity, or community standards

You may cancel your account at any time via your dashboard.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Bookiro is not liable for missed appointments, payment disputes, client behavior, or indirect damages.

  • The platform is provided “as is”, without guarantees of revenue or performance.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.


10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bookiro Inc. from any claims or damages related to:

  • Your service delivery, conduct, or business activities

  • Violations of these Terms or privacy laws

  • Client disputes or third-party claims


11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any legal disputes must be filed in a court located in Montreal, Quebec.
